Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you will visit us in person, as well.
We're located at 207 Edgewater Road in Cliffside Park, N.J., south of the GW Bridge. Our members come from all over Bergen and Hudson counties, including Edgewater, Fort Lee, North Bergen, Fairview, Cresskill, Teaneck, Tenafly, Woodcliff Lake, Washington Township, and elsewhere. Parking is on-street and in the borough's municipal lot behind the shul. Please do not park in the library lot to the shul's right.
We're less a congregation and more a community, which is why Temple Beth El is now joining us during services. We enjoy being together and we enjoy being in shul. Beth El and we agree that Shabbat services do not have to be either boring or predictable; they should be pleasurable and uplifting —and we try to achieve that every week.
We are egalitarian Conservative. Our Men's Club is affiliated with the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs. One does not have to be a synagogue member to belong to the Men's Club.
Shabbat morning services are held every Saturday morning, beginning at 9:30 a.m., and are almost always followed by a kiddush and luncheon, at which everyone is welcome. We often engage in interesting discussions and spirited singing—thereby helping to create a true sense of community.
But don't take our word for it. Spend a Shabbat with us and see for yourself. For DIRECTIONS, click here.
